September 21 is International Day of Peace where so many around the world take part to observe and to share the message.

The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day") is observed around the world each year on 21 September.   The day was established in 1981 by the United Nations.   Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. This 2018 year's #peacedaycelebrates the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: "The Right to Peace- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at 70." #standup4humanrights “Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures.” ~ John F.
